李圣杰 / Sam Lee Sheng Jie - So Fun Album

Having googled for Sam Lee Sheng Jie for the past 2 days, I realised nothing much have been written about this talent except for his some of famous songs. Myself, like many others, only know Sam Lee as the "oh the guy who sang shou fang gai, zui jing & etc" but none actually realised it's SAM LEE!! This Taiwanese singer-songwriter, has been dubbed qing ge wang zi (Prince of Love Songs) by the Chinese media. His voice is superb! I prefer him singing love ballad rather than any other fast upbeat/ jazzy songs. This 35 year old talent can truly touch many of his listeners heart when he sings any sad love song, which he (and I quote) "effortlessly emotes the joy, hope and pain of a man in love.

He's definitely under my radar from now on. Check out his new album (5th album) entitled "So Fun".

Hermes.. wonderful Hermes..

Recently I developed an interest in Hermes. Though I am not a very big fan of Kelly or Birkin bag YET, but it can certainly grows on you :P Very pricey though. Cost of fortune. Those who can afford these bags are certainly rich. Even the wallets are real pricey. I saw this Hermes Bearn Soft Leather wallet... so niceeeeee... But I think retail price is going at USD1,700 (i think). Not to sure.
And the cute orange box!! Absolute darlings.... Chanel purse are among some of the wallets I am looking for..

I managed to catch the making of this MV. The tears he shed were real. Sad.. I wonder what went tru his mind at that time. Or probably, just another good actor! :)

公主小妹 / Romantic Princess

I've just recently finished watching the highly anticipated Taiwan Drama, Romantic Princess / 公主小妹 (Gong Zhu Xiao Mei) on DVD, starring Wu Chun & Angela Chang. Not bad. I got to say Wu Chun's acting skill has improved tremendously. A little more flexible with on emotional bit. He has always play a serious face looking character in most of his dramas, but with Romantic Princess, I do see the funnier side of Wu Chun, flexing his muscle and acting sexually aroused, both in a very comical manner. Kudos to him! Of course, credits to Angela too. I have never seen her work, and all this while, I had this perception of her being a poor actress. She amazed me with her acting in this drama. Wonderful. I particularly love the waltz bit. Very smooth and romantic. Nice!

Edison Chen Sex Scandal

In all fairness (from my perspective), I don't see why and how Edison Chen was pin down for this sex scandal. I mean, cmon..

1) these photos were private and was not intended for anyone else to see.
2) the ladies involved willing posed for the camera. It wasn't anything like they were being forced to do it.
3) it was private! It's not Edison distributed it on his own. These images/videos were "STOLEN"

I am NOT a fan of Edison by the way. I just feel it's unfair for him alone to bear this blame. and c'mon, Gillian is such a hypocrite too. All this squeaky clean image thingy and being against pre-marital sex and what not. Oh please! Look, these ladies willing posed for the pics.

Edison and the ladies were the victims. End. Period. They love each other then ( i think) and so they had sex. Big Deal.

Sorry if I have offended anyone out there, but this is personally my view towards this whole issue.

Have you heard of this french man, Joseph from the Amazing Human Beatbox ? Unbelievable!

Heavenly Tiramisu

My first attempt in making tiramisu.. yummy.. Pictures looks pro! But it taste good too! REally! ;)

Fairly easy to make. So for those who like to give this a try, here's the recipe:

Before you start, chilled your beater and its bowl in the freezer. Also, ensure that the cream and cheese are well chilled.








Ing:
250g cream cheese
400ml whipping cream
1/3 cup icing sugar
1 cup boiling water
2.5 tbsp instant coffee powder
1/2 cup Kahlua
1/3 cup cold water
24 pieces sponge fingers
Cocoa powder for dusting

Steps:

1. Dissolve the coffee in boiling water and set aside.
2. Mix the liqueurs with cold water. Pour 2/3 of this mixture into the coffee.
3. Whip the cream with the icing sugar until stiff.
4. Cream the cheese until soft. Add in remaining liqueur mixture.
5. Fold in the cream and mix well.
6. Line the bottom of a loaf pan ( I used whisky glass too as an individual serve) with the sponge fingers or butter cake.
7. Soak the cake evenly with half the coffee mixture. Make sure it's not too soak.
   
8. Cover the sponge fingers with half the cream mixture.
9. Arrange another layer of cake on top of the cream mixture and then soak evenly with the remaining coffee mixture.
10. Cover with remaining cream mixture and smoothen the top evenly.
11. Chill for at least 4 hours.
12. Dust cocoa powder over the top of tiramisu before serving.

I absolutely LOVE this song! Check out 楊宗緯 Aska Yang Zhong Wei latest track 洋蔥 (Yang Cong) meaning Onion, from his first debut album DOVE. There are a number of nice tracks in it. I really like this and the other one 让 Rang (meaning.. give way) . An absolute MUST HAVE/MUST BUY original album alright!

If you understand mandarin, this song is really sad. No other better artist to deliver this song than Aska. His voice can truly carry out this song and bring this song to life. Despite my limited comprehension of Mandarin, I was so moved by his voice and as I searched further to really understand this song, it's really REALLY sad. Good song, Good voice, Fantastis Aska!

Of course, credits to Ashin of Mayday who compose and wrote this song & lyric. Kudos to him! A very talented singer, writer, composer. I read somewhere that he's writing a song for Jam Xiao Jing Teng. Can't wait for cutie Jam to released him album.

Watch out for this real deal power house - 蕭敬騰 aka Jam Xiao Jing Teng, unreasonably shy and yet so cute. Watch more of video clips especially where he appears in entertainment talk show such Da S, Siao S, Hei Ren.. and the likes.. you will soon understand why I described him as "unreasonable shy" coz he's shy just about anything and everything, and that's what makes him so cute and adorable. I'm certain he has warmed up many hearts of young and old alikes. Hahaha..

Quiet he may be, but when it comes to performing, you'll be amazed with his vocal talent. At a tender age of only 20, this cutie scored a single with A-Mei in one of her STAR album. The collaboration entitled 一眼瞬间 (yi yan shun jian) is a nice slow paced song. Bear in mind, Xiao Jing Teng has no vocal training at all. Prior to his fame, Jing Teng performed at a local pub in Taiwan. This gem was discovered when he joined the Taiwan Singing Competition - One Million Star- as a challenger to the show's contestant. Quickly, he rose to fame from there.
